The mystery of the sushi burrito concept headed into the Rainbow Village Shopping Center has been solved. Ted’s Sushi Burrito will take over a 977-square-foot, former photography studio at the Center, already home to Oyshi SushiJenni Pho and Pink Kaow Thai and more importantly for the burrito venture’s success, Zen Curry Express.

The smiling namesake host on their logo belongs to Tadashi Igarashi, aka Ted, who operates the Zen Curry expansion with his wife Hope, just a short two doors away from their latest venture. The couple are well known locally for their charitable work.

Opening day has already been scheduled for Monday, August 29 and opening hours will be Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Sundays.

While a menu has yet to be unveiled, the renderings hint at options like nigiri, tempura shrimp rice boxes and salads.
